Operation Feed ATL is in need of nutritious meals and snack items to serve the needs of our Atlanta Public Schools students impacted by food insecurity. We also accept donations through Amazon Wish List.

Volunteering with Operation Feed ATL is a great way to provide assistance to your APS community. Volunteering also provides young people with lessons in leadership, teamwork, and the importance of giving back to the community. We rely on volunteers and donations to help provide meals to others.

HOW DO YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED? 

OFA teams work together by collecting items to build BaseBoxes or SnackBags which go directly to deserving families in need. It starts with community food donations and teams of volunteers coming together to build the BaseBoxes and SnackBags. Volunteers then deliver the Boxes and Bags to deserving families throughout the Atlanta Public Schools system area. 

Sign up today as an individual or as a team to sponsor a build. There are opportunities available for as low as $500 per month. 

Every year, between four and seven billion dollars ($4B – $7B) in matching gift funds go unclaimed. In fact, over 26 million people work for companies that offer a matching gift program, but only 1.3% of individual contributions are matched at the average non-profit organization.

The Operation Feed ATL Ambassador Program gives an opportunity for APS students to learn the ins and outs of a true non-profit organization. Ambassadors assist the OFA Board of Directors with their critical tasks of running a non-profit organization while learning valuable lessons about leadership, volunteerism, community activation and fundraising.
